Date: Early July 2010 to Early August 2010

Welcome Skaters and Parents!! 

We are pleased to be offering our 16th Annual Figure Skating Summer Camp.  The Camp will run from early July to early August.  We will be offering a veriety of packages designed to assist all levels of Skaters in achieving their figure skating goals.  The intent will be to provide the skater with an enthusiastic team of teachers and coaches enabling them to exceed their personal goals through a friendly and fun environment.

All skaters who participate in the final week of Summer Camp will be allowed to show off their newly aquired skills in our School End Exhibition Skate, held on the at the end of Summer Camp.

CanSkate/PrepowerSkate - Registration Form & Schedule - to be announced 

Canskate and Junior Academy to StarSkate and Competitive skaters will be offered various Off-Ice Classes as part of the Summer Program.  Programs will include similar ones to that of the 2009 Summer Camp listed below. 

Canskate program and Junior Academy off ice classes (Ballet and Yoga)
These classes were held on Tuesday and Thursday 1:15 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.  The cost of these classes are included in the registration fee.

Red Door Yoga- Yoga mat is required for this component of the program.
Nanaimo Ballet School- Instructor is Geraldine Furrer
Core Essentials- Instructor is David Gilks. 
Please visit Core Essentials website for a seperate contract to be filled out as a requirement of this portion of the program.
In addition to the contract, a Waiver must be filled out as a requirement for this portion of the program.

SkateCanada/Figure skaters off- ice classes (Ballet, Jump, Yoga and Conditioning Classes)
These classes were held Monday through Friday. Schedules to be announced.
The Cost is incuded in the Registration Fee.
Jump/Technique Class
This component of the program will be taught by one of the Nanaimo Skating Club coaches.
